Campaign for Smart USA. When the Smart ForTwo debuted in the U.S. there were three key differentiators between it and its’ competitors. They were price, fuel economy and overall size. The goal of this campaign was to educate consumers about an affordable alternative to hybrid vehicles, such as the Toyota Prius.
